Tips:
1. After applying moisturiser and primer, even out your skintone using liquid foundation or BB Cream.
2. Conceal dark circles and imperfections. Set with loose powder.
3. Define your eyebrows using a brow pencil or powder. Set with MAC Brow set or clear mascara (optional).
4. Apply a light brown eyeshadow shade from lashline to crease. Using a darker shade of brown apply it on the crease using a C-technique. You can also add a black eyeshadow to define the outer-v and the lower lashline. Blend using a fluffy eyeshadow brush. Apply highlighter on the browbone.
5. Line the upper lashline using gel/liquid eyeliner. Slightly wing the outer corners.
6. Curl lashes, apply falsies and mascara.
7. Using a bronzer contour your cheekbones, then apply a light pink blush on the cheeks.
8. Apply lipbalm followed by a light pink/nude lipcolor.

So easy right?! How I wish I know how to edit a video so that I can post a tutorial on Youtube =)

Here's another shot =)

What do you think? Bagay ba? LOL =)

Review: Revlon Custom Eyes Mascara

Product Info from Revlon:
New Revlon CustomEyes™ Mascara is the first Revlon mascara that offers two gorgeous lash looks with one genius brush. The innovative brush has adjustable bristles to amp up length & drama or for all-out length & definition.

RETAIL PRICE: Php 750 (waterproof) & Php 725 (non-waterproof)

WEIGHT: 5.6 ml

SHADES : Available in 3 shades.
* Blackened Brown
* Blackest Black
* Black

PROS:
* waterproof - does not smudge during the day
* doesn't clump or flake (when applied in THIN coats)
* the soft bristles makes application a breeze
* really volumizes and lenghtens my short lashes (see pics below)
* easy to remove with eye makeup remover

CONS:
* I find it a bit pricey. I usually spend less than Php 500 bucks for a tube of mascara coz it usually lasts for about 3-4 months.
* Sorry I didn't notice a difference between the 2 settings but I don't mind as long as it does the job of defining my lashes.

TIPS:
Did you know that using a waterproof mascara everyday may be harmful to your lashes? So make sure to remove it completely before going to bed.

A good tip I read from Makeupalley to make your non-waterproof mascara smude-proof, is to apply a thin layer of clear mascara over your non-waterproof mascara. Tried it and it worked!

ADDICTION FACTOR:
Been using it almost everyday since I first got it and the good thing is that I didn't notice my lashes falling off unlike other mascaras I've tried.

RATING : 3/5

Review: Stila Kajal Eyeliner

Stila Kajal Eyeliner in Topaz

Product Info from Stila Cosmetics:
Kajal eye liners are formulated to mimic the ultra-soft texture of the indian eye darkener of the same name. The luscious formula is silky smooth and glides on perfectly, without dragging across the most fragile skin around the eye area. Delivers bold, clear, true color that blends easily and beautifies.

TIPS:
- Kajal Eye Liners can be used to line the inside lash line and can be applied over the entire lash line.
- Kajal Eye Liner in Topaz is a nude-peach hue that can be used inside the eye on medium to deep skin tones. You can also apply it over any lipstick shade to adjust the color.

- Can also be used as an eye shadow.

RETAIL PRICE: Php 600+. This shade is always OOS at Beauty Bar.

WEIGHT: 1.2 grams / 0.4 oz.

SHADES : Available in 8 shades.

PROS:
* very creamy formula
* no weird scent
* pigmented, glides easily without tugging the eye area.
* does not irritate my eyes
* brightens up my eyes without looking too harsh
* looks natural - no shimmers or glitters just a matte peachy-nude shade

CONS:
* a bit pricey - for reference, Prestige eyeliners costs around Php 200-300 only. Too bad they don't have a shade similar to this.
* Staying power is so-so. It starts to fade 2 hours after application.
* may clump on the lower lashes if not applied properly.

TIPS:
Nude colored eyeliner is an alternative to white eyeliner if the latter looks unnatural on you. If you're looking for an inexpensive nude colored eyeliner you want to check out Nichido's Girls night out eye pencil in Pink Diamond, though its not as creamy as Stila but it still brightens the eye area.

ADDICTION FACTOR:
Will not repurchase for now coz I have TONS of eyeliners to finish and this will last me a long time. I have mixed feelings about this eyeliner, I love how natural it looks but too bad the staying power is poor, but I don't mind reapplying =)

RATING : 2.8/5

WEIGHT: 7 grams for the Sphere lipbalm; 4 grams for the Stick lipbalm.

FLAVORS :
* Smooth Sphere Lipbalm - available in 5 flavors.
* Smooth Stick Lipbalm - available in 3 flavors.

PROS:
* Honestly, I purchased this coz I can't resist the eye catching egg-shaped packaging.
* smells yummy!
* made of natural ingredients perfect for sensitive lips.
* easy to apply; glides smoothly and evenly.
* no weird taste
* moisturises without the waxy feeling
* feels lightweight

CONS:
* it lasts for about 2-3 hours on my (bare) lips so you need to reapply often.
* the sphere lipbalm is kinda bulky to carry especially if you plan to put it inside your pocket.

ADDICTION FACTOR:
My favorite flavors?
* Sweet Mint - coz of the minty sensation it gives and it smells so yummy!
* Vanilla Bean - the scent is similar to MAC lippies.

This is a nice lipbalm to have but CARMEX is still my Holy grail! =) I prefer waxy lipbalms coz I have super dry lips.
