My Go-to Everday look using Mary Kay products

Hello Shopcoholics! I can't remember the last time I posted an FOTD, so here's one for you guys. For this look I mostly used the products I got from Mary Kay Philippines a few months ago, plus their Baked Eye Trios which I have reviewed the last time.

PRODUCTS I USED ON MY FACE:
Mary Kay Foundation Primer (P1,375)
Mary Kay Timewise Matte Wear Liquid Foundation in Ivory 5 (P785)
Mary Kay Concealer in Ivory 1 (P415)
Mary Kay Sheer Mineral Pressed Powder in Ivory 2 (P650) not included in pic

EYES & BROWS
In2it Brow Powder (P350)
MAC Brow set in Girl boy (P1,000)
Mary Kay At Play Baked Eye trio in Earth Bound (P499)
^ I used the taupe and medium brown shade only.
Maybelline Gel Eyeliner in Black (P475)
MAC Extended Play Lash (P1,150)

LIPS AND CHEEKS
Mary Kay Mineral Cheek color in Strawberry Cream (P420)
Mary Kay Creme Lipstick in Pink Melon (P700)
Mentholatum Lip Ice in Strawberry (P80)

TO SET MY MAKEUP:
Mary Kay Makeup Finishing Spray (P1,300)
Using these two products help keep my makeup looking freshly applied for hours.

In this pic, I used a different shade of lipstick. This particular look can take you from day to night by just changing the color of the lipstick to a darker shade. What I like about neutral brown shades is that it suits any shade of lipcolor from nudes, peachy-pinks to red/plum shades (just tone down the blush if you are wearing a dark shade of lipstick)

Review: Happy Skin Shut Up and Kiss Me Moisturising Lippie

A few months ago when I visited Beauty Bar to kill time, this brand caught my eye because of the cute packaging. I was interested with the lippies and tried to swatch a few shades. I was  quite impressed with the pigmentation and the packaging reminds me of Clinique's Chubby Sticks and Revlon's Kissable Stains right?!  At that time I resisted the urge to buy one 'coz I felt I needed to do some research first.
When I got home I searched Mr. Google and I'm glad I have found Askmewhat's, Shensaddiction and Project Vanity's positive reviews. So to cut the story short, I ended up with not one, but two lippies... The other lippie was a gift from my besties Hollie, Raine and Ridge.

PRODUCT INFO:
Whether torrid or tame, your lips will say it all! This Happy Skin Shut Up and Kiss Me moisturising lippie is sure to help you make that smackin' statement. This lip-loving moisture stick is loaded with Shea Butter and Collagen to get fans to line up for a taste of those supple, hydrated and ultra-kissable lips. High-pigmented and moisture-packed, this lippie glides on irresistibly smooth (without the stickiness!) and leaves behind a rich, creamy pout that's way tempting to kiss.

PRICE: Php 499.00

NET WEIGHT: 2.7 grams

WHERE TO BUY: Available at Beauty Bar Stores.

SHADES: Available in more than 7 shades.

PROS:
* uber cute and girly packaging
* affordable (this is actually cheaper than Revlon Kissable stains)
* creamy and pigmented (offers full coverage color)
* doesn't feel sticky and feels so lightweight on the lips
* doesn't settle into fine "lip" lines
* my lips look so plump and smooth even without lipbalm
* non-drying and my lips feels moisturized even a few hours after application unlike Revlon's Kissable Stains that dry out my lips =P
* good staying power; lasts for 3-4 hours on my lips.

NEUTRAL:
* fragrance-free and has no cooling sensation (compared to Clinique and Revlon)

CONS:
* I wish it has more shades available.

TIPS:
* If you have super dry lips, you might want to exfoliate first with a lip scrub like LUSH Mint Julips or Bubble gum or you can also make your own scrub. Just mix white sugar and honey and gently rub on your lips and voila... super soft and kissable lips!

OVERALL:
I'm happy and impressed with these lippies! If you're looking for an affordable and good quality lipstick, I highly recommend Happy Skin's Moisturising lippies.

WILL I REPURCHASE:
Yes! Hopefully they will launch more shades soon =)
