Good Karma Shadow brush
The brush is made of soft synthetic hair.

 Overall this is a very nice palette, a bit expensive but worth it.

MAC Limited Edition eyeshadow quads

At last after more than a month since my last post, I finally made time to update my blog!
Just in case you're wondering why I rarely update nowadays is because I now work mall hours and usually go home late at night. I really miss blogging and I miss all of you guys!

Just a quick post, I would like to present pics and swatches of these babies =)

First up is the Interior life quad from DAPHNE GUINNESS collection (released last February 2012)

Among the 4 quads that I own, this is my least favorite because of the poor color pay-off (except for the darkest shade)

Call me bubbles quad from SHOP COOK MAC Collection (released last March 2012)

Parlor Smoke quad from FALL COLOUR collection 2011

My favorite among the 4 quads that I own! The darker shades are nice to contour the crease or outer-v. Indigo Noir reminds me of Hey Sailor's Nautical Navy eyeshadow.

Shop and Drop quad from SHOP MAC collection released last March 2012

My second favorite quad coz of the pretty silver and lavender shades =)

Which of the four quads caught your eye?

CONS:

* tub packaging is not hygenic
* some may find the price expensive

TIPS:
* to avoid contaminating the product, use a spatula or a cotton bud to transfer a small amount of moisturiser into a small container. Bought mine at Watsons for less than Php 50 with a spatula.

I RECOMMEND THIS TO:
Those who are looking for a non-greasy and oil-free moisturiser. For all skintypes.

OVERALL:
I've been using this for more than a month already and I love it! I use this during daytime after toning my face with NU Skin's Napca Moisture mist and before applying my Dr. Jart Silver Label Spf 35++ BB cream. My skin now is sensitive and so far I didn't experience breaking out with it. I'm also using the Mineralized Charge Water Eye cream and will share my thoughts about it soon.

Inspired by Girltalk's thread, here's my favorites:

* NURSY BABY WIPES (Unscented)

* PUREDERM CLEANSING TISSUES/WIPES
Price: Php 29 for 30 sheets (1 pack)

* DOVE GO FRESH GRAPEFRUIT AND LEMONGRASS DEO
Price: Php 70+ for 20 grams
Why I love it: I LOVE the scent and it doesn't darken my pits. Nuff said!

* NIVEA ESSENTIAL CARE LIPBALM

Review: Sleek Makeup Brow Kit

Product Info from SLEEK:
For perfectly shaped, groomed brows look no further than Sleek MakeUP’s brow kit.
Complete with all the tools you’ll ever need for brows that flatter and frame your face, choose from two shades in light or dark to compliment your natural colouring. Just a few simple steps are all it takes for preened and polished brows!

TIPS: Begin by using the mini tweezers to remove any stray hairs for a smooth and defined result. Using the handy hard angled brush, apply the brow wax along the natural shape of your brow to create the ideal arch. Next, use the setting powder to set the wax and to fill in any sparse areas. All packaged in one handbag sized kit, your brows need never stray away!

RETAIL PRICE: $9.99 on www.sleekmakeup.com

WEIGHT: 4 gramsLink
SHADES : Available in 2 shades.
> Dark (brunettes to dark colored hair)
> Light (blondes)

PROS:
* the wax and brow powder are very pigmented
* easy to carry compact packaging
* this kit contains all you need to groom and shape your brows
* inexpensive
* good staying power

CONS:
* I find that the tweezer is difficult to use due to its small size.
* the brushes included are soft but I always end up using my own angled brow brush to apply the brow powder, the tiny angled one is good though for applying the wax.
* not available locally

TIPS:
I find that the DARK shade is too dark for me ( I recently dyed my hair medium blonde) what I do is after I apply the brow powder I use MAC Brow set in Beguile to lighten my brow color.

I RECOMMEND THIS TO:
Anyone who's looking for an inexpensive all-in-one kit for the brows.

OVERALL:
I've tried a few brow kits in the past and I was not impressed with the pigmentation and texture, but with this product it fills up my sparse brows and looks really natural.
