SHADES : Available in 15 shades.

PROS:
* packaging is classy similar to the Colorburst lipsticks.
* ultra-shiny and non-sticky
* lasts for about 4 hours with occassional drinking.
* does not dry out my lips
* a tube contains a lot of product!
* the paddle looking wand is pliable - its easy to use especially on the inner corners of my lips.
* good color pay-off especially the FIRE shade, I only apply a little amount for a very natural looking lip stain.
* yummy butterscotch scent!

CONS:
* may settle into fine lines once the color starts to fade (FIRE shade).

TIPS:
* even though the formula is moisturising don't forget to apply lipbalm underneath.
* gloss can be used alone or applied over lipstick.

*
for hygenic purposes wipe with the wand with tissue after application.

I RECOMMEND THIS TO:
If you prefer non-sticky glosses I'm sure you'll love this...

OVERALL:
Call me weird but I prefer the sticky texture of Revlon Creme Glosses coz they last longer and moisturises your lips well compared to non-sticky ones but that depends on your preference =)

Review: MAC Studio Sculpt Foundation SPF 15

MAC Studio Sculpt Foundation in NC25

Product Info from MAC:
A creamy, luxurious, gel-based foundation that provides medium buildable to high coverage with a natural satin finish. Hydrating, instantly revitalizes the skin while keeping it looking smooth, soft and plush. Long-wearing. Water-resistant.

RETAIL PRICE: Php 1,950.00

WEIGHT: 40 ml

SHADES : Available in 23 shades.

PROS:
* hygenic squeeze tube packaging
* has spf 15
* easy to blend ; unique gel like texture
* a little amount goes a long way - i only need a pea-sized amount for my face.
* provides medium to full coverage. Covers pores and slight pimple marks.
* no weird smell

CONS:
* poor oil control - my t-zone looks oily after 3 hours. With other foundations I only retouch once during the day.
* it broke me out =(
* oxidizes even with primer underneath (I'm using Monistat powder gel)
* can look cakey if you applied too much product

TIPS:
* I prefer using my fingertips to apply this foundation. Apply a little amount at a time, gently PAT on areas that need more coverage. Set with loose powder.
* To prevent foundation from caking, use blotting films first to soak up oil before retouching with powder.

I RECOMMEND THIS TO:
I think this foundation is suited for people with normal to dry skin types.

OVERALL:
I HATE it coz it gave me breakouts! I think I'm not hiyang anymore with MAC foundations... Good thing I didn't have break outs with their blushes and MSF's.

Review: Revlon Colorstay Aqua Mineral Foundation

Revlon Colorstay Aqua Mineral Makeup in Light/Pale

Product Info from Revlon:
NEW Colorstay Aqua™ Mineral Makeup delivers a burst of hydrating coconut water and an instant cooling sensation upon application. The result: your skin looks luminous and its texture smoother. With a shine-free formula that’s made with water, not oil, this lightweight powder gives you a fresh, flawless finish that lasts all day. Fragrance free and non-irritating.

RETAIL PRICE: Php 1,295.00

WEIGHT: 9.9 grams

SHADES : Available in 7 shades.

PROS:
* has spf 13
* feels lightweight
* i LOVE the cooling sensation it gives. Soooo addicting!
* has tiny shimmers; gives me a glowy effect similar to the Photoready line.
* sheer coverage - doesn't look cakey even with frequent retouching
* the brush is soft and dense
* no allergies so far - been using it as setting powder for more than a week now.

CONS:
* if you don't like shimmers then this product isn't for you.
* even though this is listed as " fragrance-free" it has a slight weird smell.. but don't worry coz it disappears a few minutes after application.
* does not cover pores since this powder has a sheer coverage.

TIPS:
* Cover half of the holes with a tape to dispense a little amount of product or place a puff inside to prevent the powder from spilling.
* I use my Ecotools kabuki brush to apply this as setting powder while the free brush can be used on areas that need more coverage like the chin area, sides of the nose etc.
* Since the free brush is made of synthetic hair, it can also be used as a liquid foundation brush or concealer brush for the undereyes.

I RECOMMEND THIS TO:
Ladies who want a glowing effect similar to Korean Celebs.

OVERALL:
You know me, I love shimmers! The price may be a shock for a Revlon product but I think this will last me 4 - 6 months with daily use, so sulit pa rin!
