Quick review: Beauty of Joseon Relief Sun : Rice + Probiotics SPF 50 PA++++

 Annyeong Shopcoholics!

One thing that I can't live without when I go outdoors is sunscreen.
Looking back at my previous years as a kid, all I remember is the sticky feel, the white cast, and the chemical smell.
The new generation of sunscreens has evolved. Over the past years, I've tried a LOT of products, and I am very picky with this product because this will also serve as my base makeup.

My HG product in the past was Dr. Jart Everyday UV Sun Fluid SPF 50++  but it was discontinued. It is non-sticky, fragrance-free, and has no white cast.

Here's another product that I don't regret trying. I first stumbled about the Beauty of Joseon Relief Sun from a popular Vlogger (I forgot his name).

I first tried the 10ml sample of this, and I fell in love!

50ml (1.69 fl.oz.)

INFO FROM WEBSITE:
Relief Sun is a lightweight and creamy type organic sunscreen that's comfortable on the skin. Even if you apply a large amount several times, it is not sticky and gives a moist finish like that of a light moisturizing cream. Containing 30% rice extract and grain-fermented extracts, it provides moisture and nourishment to the skin.

KEY INGREDIENTS:
Rice extract 30% + Grain fermented extracts
Rice has played a very important role as a staple food and skin care ingredient in Korean history.
In the Joseon Dynasty, rice bran water was used like the toner of today, and was called Beauty Water, used for beautiful skin. Rice bran is rich in amino acids and minerals, helping to moisturize dry skin.

It is similar to a light moisturizing cream, and it is not sticky or slippery even if you apply it several times.
After absorption, it provides a natural glow without a white cast.
Even if you apply a large amount before makeup, it does not clump or get cakey.

SWATCHES:

When blended.

Totally absorbed. No white cast. No sticky feel.

TIPS:
If you have dry skin, using a moisturizer before sunscreen application is recommended. I have normal to combination skin, so I just use a toner, eye cream, and sunblock before applying my face primer on the T-zone and BB Cream.

 OVERALL:
This is my new HG sunscreen. I love that it has a slightly dewy finish, and makes a good makeup base as well. It is unscented and doesn't sting my eyes.
My only concern is that you can only buy this online since Beauty of Joseon has no physical store here in Cebu.

I highly recommend this one!
