Skintific Gold vs Blue Cushion Comparison and Review

 If there’s one makeup product that can instantly make me feel polished and put-together, it’s a good cushion foundation. Lately, I’ve been reaching for my Skintific cushions — and with both the Blue and Gold versions sitting pretty on my vanity, I just had to see which one truly fits my skin’s needs.

In this post, I’ll be comparing the Blue Cushion (perfect for oily, combination, and acne-prone skin) and the Gold Cushion (ideal for normal to dry skin) side by side. From coverage and finish down to how they feel on the skin, let’s see which Skintific cushion deserves a permanent spot in your makeup bag. ✨

The packaging is just too pretty to resist! It’s sleek and travel-friendly, perfect for tossing into your makeup bag. But honestly, I rarely bring it with me — this cushion lasts so well on my skin that I don’t even need to retouch throughout the day. ✨

For reference, I’m in the shade NC20 in MAC, and I use the shade Vanilla in Skintific. You can see the swatches below.

I noticed that the Gold cushion tends to oxidize a bit, so I recommend going one shade lighter than your usual.

As for the Blue cushion, I love that the color stays true throughout the day — no unwanted darkening at all!

	If I had to choose between the two, I’d go with the Blue cushion — it suits my combination-to-oily skin perfectly and gives me that matte finish I love. Still, on days when I’m going for a natural, no-makeup look, I like reaching for the Gold cushion instead. 💡 Pro tip: To make your cushion last even longer, set it with a good loose powder right after application.
