Review : Ever Bilena Blush in Cheek

In my previous post, I mentioned that this blush is a dupe of NARS Taos.

With Ever Bilena Cheek Blush you can brush on a gorgeous glow and achieve your ultimate beauty. It is formulated to provide the much needed sun protection as well as infused with Vitamin E, C & K to moisturize, soften and enhance your radiance.

TO APPLY : Apply lightly for a subtle look or add more color depending on desired intensity.

RETAIL PRICE: Php 150 or $3

WEIGHT : 4 grams (for reference, MAC is 6 grams)

SHADES : Available in more than 3 shades.

WHAT I LIKE:
* great color pay-off
* not chalky
* above average staying power compared to other local blushes
* not scented
* no allergies!
* love that it has a mirror and the brush included is soft!
* suits both fair and morena skintones

WHAT I DON'T LIKE:
* hmm.. can't think of any.

TIPS:
Like most pigmented blushes, apply with a very light hand. Slowly layer the color till you achieve your desired look. Best if used with a stippling brush.

ADDICTION FACTOR:
Love it! Will not repurchase though, still have a lot of blushes to use. My officemate accidentally bought the HONEST shade, tried it and its a nice warm peachy-pink shade with NO shimmers =)

My fave is Maybelline's Empire Rouge & MAC Red, its non-drying and the staying power is good. Unlike the Watershine variant that fades after a few hours, and not that moisturising too!

My favorite among the bunch is the Lancome JT! It applies sheer at first then darkens a bit after awhile. Very glossy and a natural red on me! Just like bitten lips..

I'm a bit disappointed with MAC Venetian, it quickly fades and you're left with glossy lips with no color! Its so weird coz its quite pigmented in the tube and on MAC website.

I noticed that MAC Lustreglasses are very sheer when applied, get the Tinted Lipglass if you want pigmented glosses!

Smudge Free lipstick: ( I read this tip in Marie Clare Mag )

This is really important to keep lipstick last longer and prevents it from bleeding.
RED lipstick on your teeth?! NOT COOL!

1. Make sure your lips is dry (no lipbalm coz this will just make your lipstick slide off).

2. Fill in your lips with a natural colored lipliner that's closest to your lipcolor.

3. Apply your lipstick using a lipbrush for more precision.

4. Blot lips unto tissue.

5. Apply a thin layer of translucent powder over your lips to "set" the lipstick, then apply color again and gently blot with tissue..
